UK Folk Festivals - Scotland

Folk Music Festivals in Scotland

The music at Scotland's festivals is as good as that anywhere in the world. The artists have a real passion for folk music. For some rousing foot-tapping entertainment, Scottish festivals are the place to be. There is often a celidh as well. They vary from marque-sized events to multi-stage extraveganzas. Fiddles and bagpipes are not compulsary, although you can of course find festivals where they are heavily featured.

Festivals for 2012 are being added regularly. Remember, we can't check every ticket price, unfortunately, as some are not listed until closer to the event, so we advise you to check the prices yourself.

Click on a festival name and it expands to reveal the full details (like the first one).
